Adding a giveaway, powered by PromoSimple, to a website built using WIX is quick and easy — just follow the steps described below. WIX website builder allows you to add your own custom HTML, which appears within a frame on your WIX page.
Add a new element to the page
When you are in the WIX editor click on the Add button from the editor menu (the big plus symbol). From the menu that appears scroll to the bottom of the list and choose ‘Apps’. From the new Apps menu that shows, select ‘HTML’ (the third option).
A square area should appear in the editor on the page. Click on this section and a menu will appear so that you can customize the element. Click on the ‘Settings’ link within this layer. The Apps area should update with options for the HTML Settings. Change the ‘Mode’ dropdown from the default Website Address to ‘HTML Code’. A new field labeled ‘HTML / embed code’ should show under the dropdown.
Within the Publish tab of your PromoSimple campaign copy the Embed Code for your Website. Paste this code into the ‘HTML / embed code’ field. Click the ‘Update’ button below the ‘HTML / embed code’ field. Your entry form should now show within the small HTML box on the page you are editing.
You can drag the border limits of this HTML section on the page to have enough height and width so that the scroll bars will disappear.
